The game has an amusing cast of characters. The two enemies are Pookas and Fygars. Pookas are animated red tomatoes with yellow sunglasses and Fygars are green dragons who can breathe fire. If You're armed with your trusty pump, which you can use to inflate your enemies until, finally, they blow up. But both the Pookas and Fygars can crawl through the ground and pop out into your tunnels. If a Fygar sneaks up behind you, he can toast you if you're not careful!
This Deluxe version of DIGDUG includes 2 modes; you can choose between the classic arcade version and the new game with enhanced graphics!
