I own this...phone the internal memory is very low . And if you are an Gamer like me then you are dead unless you can hack it, like how I did.. Then after hacking it is good but let me tell you I believe that Galaxy Y will not Get Android 4.0 ICS Update. Otherwise it is a good budget phone.

just to share: choose your phone model first and all games and applications for your phone will appear then select..download screen will appear..just an advice.. better choose save to PC first before phone.. after that copy file from your pc to phone then run..olahh..enjoy!

this is a cool phone for a very cheap price.the apps is quite amazing but some requires online connections that somehow bores me because the connection is not good.regarding the battery usage, i think its normal for an android os coz it needs a lot of power supply for its very sophisticated operating system, in addition, the handset is small only thats why the battery pack is also small.if you guys want handsets which you can use for a very long time without charging, you buy larger ones with larger battery pack.(but i think you dont wanna bring huge handsets with u wherever you go)so to kaykay2009, you have no right to disclaim and trash talk about samsung because you bought this in a cheap price. if you want to have your perfect and god-like phone (if theres any) you invest a lot ok?

Battery is a bit problem in this phone. In performance wise, the major drawback is the absence of flash support. Yes it doesn't support flash. This drawback would affect you if you are a frequent web user.

with people having problenm with the battery life..all you need to do is press and hold the button to display the task manager..the task manager displays the tasks thats using your battery...then you can close the apps youre not using using the task manager.it saves the battery...

I had mine for a month now. My only concern with this phone is the battery life. the preloaded apps would suck up the power even if you just don't use it and i had it charged twice a day. I read that the solution to this is updating the android os over to Gingerbread 2.3.6. but for an entry level smart phone, i think it's still worth buying

Beware: Bought a SAMSUNG GALAXY Y GT-S5360 4days back and my serious advice to all would be to STAY (miles) AWAY from this product! Throwing money down the drain will give you better satisfaction than buying this pathetic gadget. The phone with a full charge gives 6 HOURS of battery backup. Went to the dealer, and he suggests shutting down MOST default applications that the phone came loaded with to increase standby time. They also offer to replace the battery - Great! A 4 Day old product needs a battery replacement. Wished I had checked online reviews about the phone before buying this damned product. Save yourself the pain - DO NOT BUY THE PHONE!
